Call for expression of interest to join the working group on Concentrated solar thermal technologies extended to non-concentrated technologies

The Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan) is taking a major step forward in accelerating the transition to a clean energy future.

The dedicated implementation working group on concentrated solar thermal technologies (IWG CST) has brought together stakeholders, the European Commission and SET Plan countries to drive innovation with the aim to position Europe as a global leader in this field.

Now, the IWG CST is broadening its scope to include non-concentrated solar thermal technologies. This expansion aligns with the EU’s Solar Energy Strategy to ensure adequate research and innovation across the entire solar thermal landscape.

All relevant stakeholders are invited to join this IWG by expressing their interest no later than 1 March 2024 via the EUsurvey available here.
